The Search

Life is like a quest; a never-ending one; we end one only to start another.

It’s our nature as humans, in our DNA of some sorts; our genetic makeup to thirst for things, we were designed to want, to desire accomplishments, acquisitions and achievements.

We search for so much out of life; physical & materialistic, tangible or not. But in these diverse quests, many are led astray in one way or the other…

How you say? By searching wrong.

If you don’t know the right thing to search for, or how to search properly? You’d end up with fakes, copies, imitations, look alike of the real deal.

So sometimes our intentions are good, the resources put in are adequate, we just don’t know how to search right. Our methodology is simply wrong.

Very often we begin a search with little knowledge and vague details. Having only a piece of the puzzle, we launch into a blind, frenzied search knowing only what the right things should look like or perhaps even sound like. We neglect to inquire the keywords or specifications to aid our search and so we end up searching amiss, ending up with something wrong; a lie or we get fed up and give up, frustrated and worn out, settling for what we don’t want.

Let the Holy Spirit direct your search, whatever your quest/thirst/desire/goal/aim in life is.

Maybe the reason you’re not finding what you’re looking for is because you’re going about it the wrong way.

Step back and reevaluate rather than continue headstrong. We have limited foresight as humans. We don’t always see the big picture. Why not rely on the one who’s the alpha and omega (beginning and the end), who has gone ahead of you and sees it all.

Let God lead your search, He has the blueprint and specifications to all of your life’s needs…

Scripture anchor: Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most.
Psalms 37:4 TPT
